Protection of Personal Information (POPIA)
This page allows you to indicate your preference regarding how Spot Settlements processes, contacts, and collects documentation relating to your personal information under the POPIA framework.
Your Privacy Rights
Manage your communication and data processing preferences under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
1. Object to your information being processed
If you do not want Spot Settlements to process your personal information, you will not be able to institute a claim.
Please note that objecting to processing is not the same as objecting to or opting out of the Settlement — you will still be bound by the terms of the Settlement.

2. Do not wish to be contacted again
If you no longer wish to receive communications about the Settlement, your contact details will be removed from the Spot Settlements database.
Please note that this is not the same as objecting to or opting out of the Settlement — you will still be bound by its terms.

3. Participate but do not want to submit required documents
Documentation is required to verify your claim’s validity. Without these documents, your claim cannot be processed and any potential Settlement payment cannot be finalised.
