Object to the Settlement
If you object, you remain a member of the Settlement Class (if approved by the Court) and you’re telling the Court you believe something about the Settlement is wrong or unfair. If you object, you must still submit a claim to receive payment.
Objection Deadline
15 March 2026
Your objection must be filed by this date.Important: You can only object if you have not opted out. If you opt out, the Settlement will not affect you and you cannot object.
To receive a payment if the Settlement is approved, you must still submit a claim by the claim deadline, even if you object.
How to object
You may file a written objection yourself or hire an attorney at your own expense. Your objection must be filed with the Settlement Administrator (Spot Settlements) by 15 March 2026. The Settlement Administrator will collate any objections and file a report with the Court and relevant parties.
Your objection must include
- A detailed statement of what you object to
- Specific reasons for your objection, with any evidence or legal authority
- A statement confirming you reviewed the Class definition and have not opted out
- Any documents you want the Court to consider
Also include your details
- Your full name and physical address
- Your phone number
- The vehicle’s VIN linked to your claim
- Your ownership/lease status and dates (start and end, if applicable)
