Spot Settlements has been court-approved to administer the class notice process in the VW EA189 Emissions Settlement. This marks an important step in ensuring that all affected current and former owners of Volkswagen or Audi vehicles equipped with EA189 engines are informed of their rights and options.

As part of this process, class members are being notified of the proposed Settlement, their right to submit a claim, and their right to object to or opt out of the proposed Settlement. After the conclusion of the notification period, the High Court will consider whether to grant final approval of the Settlement.

Payments to eligible and validated claimants can only begin once the High Court grants final approval of the proposed Settlement and individual claims have been reviewed.
